The Golden Road Quartet has shared the stage with some of
Southern Gospel's finer singers, such as the Mark Trammell Trio, The Chuck Wagon
Gang, Eternal Vision, The Lester's, Florida Boys, Gordon Mote, Legacy 5 and the Monument
Quartet.
In September 2005, the Quartet had the privilege of
participating in a Lamon Records' national talent search at the National Quartet
Convention in Louisville, KY of which we were one point short of placing first.
We have been fortunate enough to have been
featured in a full page article in the "Rural Missouri" back in June 2005 and were
recently featured on the cover of "Streets of Gold" Southern
Gospel magazine in the May-June-July 2007 edition that is distributed to over 38 states. The Quartet is
looking forward to continuing their ministry for years to come.
The people that represent the Golden Road Quartet are as
follows: Stephanie Clark, tenor; Dwayne Watkins, lead; Tim Tesreau, baritone; David
Watkins, bass; & Lance Hamann, pianist.
Stephanie Clark joined the Quartet in May, 2008.
Stephanie, and her husband Curtis, live in Doniphan where Stephanie has lived
all her life. She has two children, Stephan (who is married to
Samantha) and Brandon. She is also a step-mother to Nicki, Holly, and
Cody. Stephanie and Curtis are active in their local
congregation at His Place and also with A Thousand Hills Cowboy Church located in Poplar
Bluff. When Stephanie isn't singing with the Golden Road Quartet, she and
Curtis enjoy riding their horses and trail-riding. Stephanie is employed
by the Dental Arts Groups in Poplar Bluff as a dental assistant and Curtis works
at the State Highway Department in Naylor and has
horse auctions that keep him busy.

proud to call it home. They have two adult children, Josh, who lives in
Westville, Indiana, and is a manager for US Steel Corp., and Julie, who is a
student at Missouri State University in Springfield. Tim and Vicky are
active in their local congregation at His Place, where Tim is a member of the
Board of Elders and leads the media team. They are both employed by Agri-Gro Marketing, Inc.
David Watkins, one of the founding
members of the Golden Road Quartet, has lived in Doniphan MO all his life, in
1992 he married his wife Julie, and in 1994 they had a son, Hayden. Currently
David is employed at the US Bank in Doniphan and Julie works at a business she
started
named Shindigz. They attend the His Place Fellowship Church in Doniphan. David
has been involved in Southern Gospel Music for several years and has sung with
other groups but he has said, "This is best group I have been with, in sound and
in spirit. I am looking forward to what God has in store for this group." David
also added that "I am so glad that God has spared me so I can share the "Good
News" of what he has done in my life and still does today!"
Lance

this group of people (and their families) a true blessing and thanks God that He
placed him with them. God bless! |
