us welcome Bob Mitchell as our new baritone . . .
Bob Mitchell joined the Quartet in
June of 2010. Bob resides in Paragould, AR with his wife of 36
years, Kathy. Bob and Kathy own
Capman, Inc. and are members of
First Baptist Church in Paragould where Bob serves as Deacon as well
as assisting with the music ministry. Kathy teaches Sunday School,
Inductive Precepts Bible study, as well as serving on the board of
Life House Ministries. Both of their sons, Greg and Jeff are also
very active in church ministry. "Music has always been an important
part of my life and I'm excited about this door that God has opened
for me."
Our Mission
Golden Road endeavors to spread encouragement and hope for discouraged and hopeless people with the good news of Jesus Christ administered through music and testimony.
Our ProfileGolden Road Quartet is composed of five brothers in Christ joined in a united effort with their families and friends. We are currently searching for our tenor singer, Dwayne Watkins sings lead, Bob Mitchell sings baritone, David Watkins brings in the low bass, and Lance Hamann at the piano. Additional information on the group can be found on our Biography page. Golden Road Quartet's style of music would be classified generally as southern gospel. The group is available nights and weekends as Scheduling allows.
